Dr. Lovich will be the subject of my next review.  Dr. Lovich is Board Certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons. His office is located in Talent Oregon.  After finishing his fellowship spent the next 12 years as the Chief of Plastic Surgery at David Grant Medical Center with special assignments as Director of the Craniofacial Board, and Medical Director of the Ambulatory Care Unit. Because I am darn near perfect I have not had any plastic surgery performed on me by him.  Dr. Lovich is highly respected among the medical community in Southern Oregon.

Every time I meet Dr. Lovich I am always very impressed. It is quite impressive how smart Dr. Lovich is.  Unlike most doctors he is down to earth and does not have that God like complex most doctors do.  He is very empathetic towards his patients.  

When most people think of plastic surgery they are really thinking of cosmetic surgery. His practice is more plastic than cosmetic.  In other words Dr. Lovich is more focused on repairing damage that may have been caused by either an illness or an accident.  

I am recommending Dr. Lovich fro several reasons. 1. His high standing within the medical community. 2. My personal experiences from speaking with him several times. 3. Having spoke with several people that have been treated by him.  Another sign that he is good is the fact that it may be several weeks before you could even get in to see him.  Even though he is crazy busy. He still offers free consultations where he will examine you and answer any questions you might have. 

I will be reviewing Si Casa Flores in this post.  We have a ton of Mexican restaurants in Southern Oregon and this is one of my favorites.  Si Casa Flores has grown quickly and now has three different locations in Southern Oregon. . With three locations it makes getting to one of them snap.  I don't know if they have any more plans to expand or not.

The food is excellent. There has never been a time where I ordered something and it was not spectacular.  I always leave their stuffed. There salsa would blow you away it is so good.  It is so incredible that they actually started packaging it and selling it at the local grocery stores.

One of the things I have noticed after eating at all of their locations is that everything is consistent.  I think they actually import much of the furniture, art and other knick knacks from Mexico. I have been know to be wrong about certain things but I am pretty sure about this.  

We always get service that is fast and friendly.  We almost never have to wait for a table.  Almost simultaneously as we sit down chips and salsa arrive.  The food arrives promptly.  Hungry for Mexican Food? I highly recommend you check out Si Casa Flores.

I will be reviewing Finish Line Real Estate.  They're a local real estate property company in Medford Oregon. This is a small real estate office.  I have had the privilege of knowing Vick for going on 10 years now. She probably knows more about the local real estate market than 20 other local real estate agents combined.  

In full disclosure I have not used Vicki. This is simply because I have not had the need to buy or sell a home in that last 10 years that I have known her.  I will be calling her when the need arises and everyone I have sent her way says nothing but good things.  

With over 15 years experience selling real estate in Southern Oregon she has all the experience you need.  Prior to that she was in the banking and mortgage industry. She has a strong well rounded knowledge of the entire  home buying  or selling process.

She is also a Southern Oregon native. She was born and raised here.  She knows a ton of people.  Knows the cities and neighborhoods like the back of her hand. She will be able to get you into the home you are looking for at the price you want.

You need to call her if you are planning on selling a home.  She gets homes sold fast just because of the extensive network I wrote about previously.  She refuses to play the home listing games that other agents like to engage in.  What I mean by that is if you are not being realistic about your asking price she won't work with you. She does not work with home owners like this for the simple reason that it is not fair to anyone.

In this review I will be talking about a small business called Advanced Transmissions. . This is a transmission repair and service shop located in Southern Oregon located in the little town of Phoenix.  When most people think of mechanic shops they think of oil, grease, grime, dirt and all manner of unpleasantness. This is not Advanced Transmissions in any way. You will quickly understand why I am recommending them if you ever go their shop. They are clean, the shop is clean and you know they are not going to screw you.  

Shifting troubles are what brought me to doing business with Advanced Transmissions. I could not get it to go into 3rd gear. . I am pretty much useless when it comes to working on cars.  I was totally guessing that it was going to cost me a few hundred dollars or more to get my truck fixed.  But it need to be fixed and I had heard really good things about them.

After they called me and told me it was ready to be picked up I asked how much it was going to cost. $60 dollars is what they said. I thought they were joking when they gave me the total. They weren't. All it took to fix that big problem was a little clip that had broken off. . If they had wanted to they could have given me a large bill and I would have paid it.  This is why I recommend Advanced. They could have stuck me with a big bill but they did not.  

They work with all models and makes of cars with automatic, manual and hybrid transmissions. And also they work on clutches, differentials and other areas of the vehicle that can be in direct connection to the transmission. I am unable to genuinely tell you given that I am not a car guy.

Three simple words instantly explain while I highly recommend Advanced Transmission. Those three simple words are ethical, honesty and fairness.  Passion for what they do is another reason why I would recommend them.  I am not doing these guys any justice when I say they are knowledgeable at what they do.  Plus, for them. it is all about creating that life long relationship with their customers and their vehicles.  These people live up to their saying of “You Can Trust Us To Flush Your Transmission Not Your Wallet”. ISeeSouthernOregon.Com is the subject of this review.  This is a local business directory, event calendar and coupon site all rolled up into one. I personally fee this is one of the most comprehensive and fun directories in my area. When ever I am bored or my wife asks me what I want to do I always check out this site. 
Something that they offer that I think is really important for more of the local businesses to take care of is their advertising options. Effective and cheap advertising is difficult to find these days. They offer it. And it works really well.

Usually I am not at a loss for words but there is not much else I can say.  I said it all in the very first paragraph.  Whether you are a local or a visitor to Southern Oregon you will find this site helpful and informative. Check out the Medford Event Calendar for something to do in Medford OR

My first review is for a company called Focus 1 Insurance. I know you already know this.  They sell just about every type of insurance.  Hey, I just heard you groan.  Please don't think less of me for my first review being about an insurance company.  Let me explain why I think this company is different and why I think you should consider getting your insurance through them.

One of the coolest things I like about this company is the fact that they are independent insurance agents.  They are able to sell the products or insurance lines of quite a few different large insurance companies.  Unlike those other big companies you are very familiar with.  They will save you time and money by shopping your policy around and finding the best fit. Why should you have to buy something from someone when they only have one thing to sell? That is the situation you run into with "those" other companies.  It's unfortunate that people get stuffed into an insurance box that just does not fit.  

My Focus 1 Insurance agent is Eli Clark. He is one of the coolest insurance agents I have ever met. He is awesome.  Just because Eli is my insurance agent does not mean you need to use him. All of the insurance agents, and I've met them all, are really great people.  All of the agents are passionate about insurance, I don't know why, and really care about their clients.  Their slogan is something that they live by and believe in.  “Where The Focus Is On You”.

I give this company two thumbs up. Look, it's not just me either that says how great they are. Check out the reviews left by other people on their Google maps listing. They give back to the community in variety of ways too.  If you have not had your insurance policy looked at in a while you may want to give these guys a call. They offer auto, home, life, farm, and pretty much every other insurance you can think of.
